Mercia EIS has sequential tranches, which close every three months, as the end of March, June, September and December each year.
When the EIS funds close, both the application and the funds need to have been received, or the investor may be moved into the next EIS tranche. If the investment has to moved into the next tranche, EIS deployment will be delayed, which means that the investment and tax reliefs will also be delayed.
