Our EIS fund invests in qualifying companies in software, healthcare and deep tech sectors. We are investing at between seed and series A stages, each with the potential to deliver a 5x to 10x return on investment.
We have been investing at this stage and sector for over 40 years, so we have lots of experience, having a portfolio of over 500 companies and having delivered over 200 profitable exits. The scale of Mercia is a key difference to our peers.
One of the other key differences with Mercia EIS is our ability through our large network to find and grow technology companies outside of London and the SE of England. Our regional investment strategy enables us to find great companies, without paying a premium that many EIS funds focused on hyped companies investing in London. Investing into great companies at the right price provides the optimal return for our EIS investors.
We will invest in approximately 12 companies, across software, lifesciences and deep tech sector, and we aim to complete this within 12 months.
