Does Mercia EIS offer any exit strategies for investors?

Each portfolio of EIS shares is made up of about 12 companies, and we expect about 1/3 of these companies to fail, and 2/3rds to succeed, with 1/3 to provide the vast majority of the returns.

Investing in our EIS funds provides access to the venture capital asset class, the performance of which is defined by the power law, which means a few of the companies will provide the vast majority of the returns.

Both the companies and the fund is therefore illiquid and investors should expect to wait for 5-7 years, or longer, for their investment to be fully realised.
